Sapphic Love
Love. Connection. Desire. Choice.
The Lovers is a celebration of love in all its beautiful, unconventional forms. Inspired by the sixth card of the Major Arcana, this illustration explores intimacy, vulnerability, attraction and the courage to love authentically.
Two sapphic figures embrace beneath a deep red halo, surrounded by roses and celestial symbolism representing passion, connection and the delicate balance between love and individuality.
Created in a bold, tattoo-inspired linocut style, the artwork combines striking black-and-white illustration with deep red accents. Its modern gothic aesthetic brings a contemporary queer perspective to traditional tarot symbolism.
The Lovers is more than a romantic connection. It's about choosing love without losing yourself.
Part of Sapphic Love, an original illustrated tarot collection exploring identity, relationships, self-discovery and the complexities of the human experience.
Choose from six carefully selected materials, each offering a different way to showcase the artwork.
Fine Art Matte Paper Print
A refined, gallery-inspired finish with a smooth, non-reflective surface. Matte paper beautifully complements the artwork's bold black linework, delicate details and deep red accents. An excellent choice for a timeless fine art presentation.
Satin Photo Paper Poster
A smooth paper finish with a subtle satin sheen, offering a balance between rich colour reproduction and minimal glare. Ideal for displaying the artwork with vibrant contrast and crisp detail.
Glossy Photo Paper Print
A polished, reflective finish that enhances colour saturation and contrast. The glossy surface brings added vibrancy to the deep red halo and roses, creating a striking contemporary presentation.
Brushed Metal Print
A modern, industrial-inspired finish featuring the distinctive texture of brushed metal. The metallic surface adds depth and visual interest, giving the artwork an edgy, contemporary character.
Wood Print
A warm, organic alternative to traditional paper. The natural wood grain introduces subtle texture and variation, creating a distinctive piece that combines modern gothic illustration with natural materials.
Canvas Print
A textured, gallery-inspired presentation that adds depth and dimension to the artwork. Canvas offers a softer, tactile finish while maintaining the illustration's bold graphic style.
Each print is available in a selection of sizes, from smaller accent pieces to larger statement artwork.
